What R2 accessories are you researching?

I see there are a few third-party shades for R1, so I assume something will materialize. However, I also read another thread on this topic where it was stated that some shades and/or tinting can actually trap heat in the glass and cause cracking. Guess we'll find out. I figure we'll operate without one for as long as we can stand it and then roll the dice.

Does anyone know how much the electro chromatic glass on the R1 impact internal temperature in the car?

Phone mount with magsafe and I'll do what i currently do (running a flat extension cord with super fast chargers/charging cables running from 110V outlet to the front seats).
Androidauto screen if ones available
Tuxmats once they have them available
Rubber seals for the doors to reduce sound (like with the R1S)

If i have the $$, i will get a full body PPF and whole car sound deadening, but maybe way down the order.

Same here. I’m not sure who thought being blinded and burned through roof glass was a great idea. Even with all of the UV protection it’s still too bright and heats up the cabin. A roof sunshade is a must.

Id probably make the design public for anyone to make themselves but I could see myself selling finished pieces. It all depends on how much free time I have, and currently I have what feels like negative free time

Love to make a custom Sub Trunk subwoofer enclosure for R2... assuming audio is anything like R1 it would be markedly improved with a decent subwoofer and amp.

I have always been able to purchase wheel locks from the vehicle manufacturer. But I don't see locks in the Gear Shop, not even for R1.

Any recommendations for third-party wheel locks for the R2? Thanks in advance.

I sent WeatherTech an email about a rear cargo area protection mat, like I have in my Jeep. They responding saying they don't have an R2 to measure yet. Since Rivian doesn't produce all-weather mats for this part of the vehicle, it seems they should be providing WeatherTech the dimensions.

Please ping WeatherTech as it would be great to get a protective mat before making a mess!

This is something that NTSB should have banned. I am surprised Rivian built the R2 with this feature. I cant imagine how children or almost anyone could escape this car in an emergency the way the manual escape was implemented - especially in the back seat. And really gave me pause about purchasing the car. Safety should come first...especially in a car focused on famiy adventure.
