I am flying home from work tomorrow and plan on driving by the SLC SC to stop by on the way home to see if I can eyeball an R2

I was told by the Boise SC that SLC does already have demo R2s. Boise didn't have one last week when I was there for an alignment.

I'm not too far from Park City. 130 miles. Is it worth it to make the trip? Is it definitely on the 9th of June? Also, I drove past the Salt Lake SC a week or two ago and I didn't see any R2's.

The R2s have invisible cloak mode turned on until the 9th.......

Spotted 13 R2s in Park City today waiting to be loaded on a transporter. Really special to have my first R2 siting like this!

Talked to one of the employees who said it was a press event ahead of the production release and we should see coverage from this event when everything drops on Tuesday! He also said they had a total of 28 R2s on site.

I noticed the two white ones on 224 going toward Kimball junction when I was returning from Walmart. There may have been others, but it was evening and the profile and details with the white contrast were clearly not an R1. Thanks for posting - it confirms that I really did see the R2s on the road. They looked great driving by.

Yes - Esker Silver seems to be deliberately kept out of the public eye - i wonder if that is to push the premium priced options. I am waiting to see it live next to the Half moon Gray.

I have my doubts about it being kept out deliberately (mostly because LA Silver was featured on pre-production R1Ts during it's unveiling), and while I think we will have more info tomorrow, I've still been thinking about this way too much lol.

Mostly because I am seriously considering Silver, if it's available when I get my email - but I don't want to have not seen it in the flesh yet, and I don't want to have to speculate that maybe it's delayed. If Rivian doesn't say boo, but allows you to configure with Esker Silver, and then you just move to the back of the line without any communication.... that would be a gamble I don't want to take if I get an email in the next week.

RivianTrackr(Kryptonlogic) had a post pointing at production issues with Esker Silver but it's been fixed now. So we should see a ton of Esker silvers soon. Other colors just had a head start.

Amazing how lack of information leads to spinning conspiracies. I knew it was going to be something like this. I'm hoping I like Esker Silver so I can save $1,500 to $2,000 on a paint job I would like but don't need.
