Do we have a thread for everyone that has RECEIVED their trucks yet? I know when I got my brand new Honda Pilot which was also hard to get at the time, it was good to see people get them as most disappear off the forum cause they are having too much fun with their new car!

We probably will need a delivery thread eventually. That will be a lot better to manage than new threads each time a forum member receives a delivery. It will be great at first, but will start to get old very quickly.

Yowza! ?? Just off call from my Guide (texted me), confirming delivery of Launch Green R1T “April/May” (prior quoted “March/April”).

Was # 1,923 in pre-order queue (Nov 28, 2018), live in NorCal. Went over configuration, any changes, emails coming for 1) purchase agreement then another for 2) proof of insurance, fund transfer then 3) schedule delivery date to home.

Said, “Will be before end of May, possibly much earlier depending on your location and other vehicles being shipped nearby.” (I assume they will look to pack auto trailers heading in same vicinity and where they have some infrastructure in place).

Charging station will be shipped separately and ahead of vehicle delivery. Federal/state rebates processed separately with taxes so vehicle price is retail not bet of rebates.

Based upon the flurry of posts on this topic in the last 48 hours, it appears Rivian is gearing up production abs has enough parts to surgically deliver based upon 1) configuration, 2) location and 3) where in the pre-order queue.

They've all been BM. I don't think anyone's seen FE or OC in the wild, other than a few pre-production units.

I was lucky enough to chat with a Rivian employee today (NOT someone in Customer Service) that confirmed that they are just doing Black Mountain interior batches right now. He didn't say when batches of other interiors would happen.

well, if you chat again s00n, try to squeeze the skuttlebutt about when other interiors (esp. FE green) expected to start rolling. Or if not that specific then any talk about other two interiors being delayed for reason(s) other than "batching" many BM builds.

As if it couldn't get any worse . . . .

I'm glad they are honoring the pricing they had sent out to a handful of people via the buyer's agreements, but to be asked to pay 15% more because I ordered 8 months later, even though I was waiting 2 years (or will have by the time I get my truck)? That's egregious to the extreme.

Pretty sure it's just those of us who reserved in 2020 and beyond that are getting absolutely screwed. I think you're locked in. Explains the recent rush of sales agreements going out over the last week.
