Maybe they are making legitimate supply chain changes that are resulting in a better product, and OP will end up with an inferior vehicle than people that will realize the increase.

Excited to see the deliveries beginning...congrats to all those who are getting close!
That said, I have to say that I was really kinda *PISSED* last Thursday (2/24) when my wife and I were heading over the 520 floating bridge in Seattle and saw an R1T that matched my configuration the lane next to us. It reminded me of the time I ordered a new Mercedes E55 from a local Mercedes dealer and they gave it to someone else, despite the fact that I had been waiting for two years...
I know that my pre-order is in the first few hundred placed on 11/26/2018, and my configuration is nothing exotic. I sincerely hope that I'm contacted soon and that the original pricing is honored!
