Congrats. Hope you don't mind attention, because everywhere you park people are going to ask about the truckIt's working again now. I got my official Rivian email "It's time to complete your purchase...." Once I clicked that link, everything seemed to work perfectly. Delivery is scheduled for Monday Mar 7!!
Woo-Hoo!!

Congrats! Just scheduled my 3/7 delivery too! Went through the same painful delay this afternoon. Then all went well. SoCal LA area for me.
Wow! They told you 4-6 weeks , but it's actually happening this Monday! So awesome. What a great way to spend a Friday night!!
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
Im sure this is super low on your list, but have you guys asked how they missed the delivery estimate (in a good way) by so much? Wasn't it 4-6 weeks, then 2, and now like... 1 from the day you were notified?
I didn't ask this specifically but I do have some insight based on some comments from my Guide. I believe that the system only has a basic level of tracking for them to see, i.e build/delivery stage and destination. There are also several inspection steps in the process, and the truck could be axed as a result of any of those. Additionally, finding drivers and keeping to exact delivery schedules with 3d party shippers is nearly impossible. For these reasons, I believe it is policy to give the 4-6 week window, knowing it likely won't be that long.Im sure this is super low on your list, but have you guys asked how they missed the delivery estimate (in a good way) by so much? I'm so confused how they didn't seem to know the trucks were made, were awaiting the software update, and then were on a truck... what Tuesday?
Literally no negativity in the question. It's just surprising.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Production, transportation, PDI, delivery in 1 week, no way. Heck, just the drive from Normal to Seattle (2,042 mi) or Normal to LA (1,992 mi) should take about 31 hours of driving. I don’t know how many hours commercial truckers can legally drive in a day, but I would be surprised if it was more than 12. That means 3 days for transport alone.Im sure this is super low on your list, but have you guys asked how they missed the delivery estimate (in a good way) by so much?
