I think they should at least come with the mobile charger which charges at 32 amps on 240v
Yes they do, but many would like to hardwire their chargers. Setting up a 220v plug would mean we have to get someone to remove it and hardwire the charger later. Possible but unnecessary.

Anybody do a trade-in yet to see how the values offered compare?
Someone posted yesterday that they were offered more than KBB and significantly more than Carvana.

I’m 100% jaded, of course, but has anyone else had the thought that the only other delivery(s) was right before the last earnings call? Dec 11 for a Dec 16 call and now we are seeing a handful of March 7/8 for a March 10 call…

Great observation. We will know more next week. If contacts slow way down then we know Rivian is trying to game the system. I really hope that isn’t the case but I would not be surprised. History repeats itself.

Very possible. Although with the more detailed configuration (tow hooks for all, underbody shield is an option) and the huge new update which seems to be the result of beta testing for months , I am optimistic that they are actually ready to deliver. We'll see....

I'm proceeding with caution on this whole Rivian thing. I'm afraid even with my locked in price that if something happens with the company or there's no consumer demand (down the road), I'm going to be stuck with an $80,000 truck.

Very skittish at the moment...

They're supply constrained with approx 2 years of banked demand. Every order after 3/1 has additional profitability built in. It depends on how long you mean when you say down the road. In the 3-5 year mark I don't anticipate major issues. Besides maybe the suspension I'm not sure what if anything Rivian's doing that's breaking the mold from a component perspective. The motors are off the shelf Bosch units and a lot of the "magic" is software. 10 years down the road who knows but everyone who accepts delivery is taking a calculated risk on long term longevity. There's simply no history.

Yeah, what a rollercoaster. I think I feel that bitterness from earlier in the thread is coming back...
Bummer - hang in there... I'm sure it'll get fixed by tomorrow! My son had a soccer game yesterday less than a mile from the Bellevue service center, so we dropped by and took a quick inventory (while waving at their parking lot security cameras). I quickly counted 5 (maybe 6) blues, 5 launch greens, 4 granites, and 1 white...

Pretty sure this one is mine...! ?

We might swing by today just to convince ourselves it's real. We can't get arrested for stealing our own truck, right?

I just logged into my Rivian account to see if the configuration had come back down to $76k from the pricegate jump to $89k (it has not) and saw the truck icon with 8 on it! Went in, uploaded my license and registration info, and tried to get trade info. It says it needs to be manually viewed and will take a couple of business hours before I get a reply. Insurance tab not helpful outside of business hours it seems. Back to the main page and then I get the error that others have seen.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to believe my truck is built and ready to go, but the way the past year has gone I am highly skeptical. I just had my first contact with a guide on Tuesday and she said I was 4-6 weeks from delivery. My follow up call with her is this Tuesday so I hope to know a lot more by then.

No idea where the closest Service Center is - perhaps Chicago? Have not heard of one opening in Michigan yet. It's going to be another interesting week coming up... :fingerscrossed:

Here is how i see these things differing:

At the end of last year nobody on this forum was taking delivery. Maybe because there were just so few overall that statistically hitting someone here had a very low probability.

Now literally almost every day the past few days people have been completing the steps to get their trucks delivered and in about 24 hours our first forum member will have a truck in their driveway.

Also these trucks were always scheduled to be delivered around now.

Finally we have drone footage of hundreds of trucks outside the plant seemingly ready to roll out.

So, certainly the timing of these deliveries might be conspicuous but i don't think it is contrived.
