I got the trade-in offer from Rivian. It is about 10% less than Carvana and 12% less than CarMax. I've seen at least one other post that said Rivian was higher than either of those. Perhaps they have cut their trade in pricing slightly to help make up for loss of revenue from the markup disaster?
Trade in prices seem to be really subjective. Late last year my Model Y was getting the best offer from Vroom, then Carvana then Carmax. I checked Vroom and Carvana last month, and Carvana is giving a better offer now.

I don’t think membership even kicks in until after the first year of ownership.
It's supposed to start at purchase and, initially, last for a year. Now they don't have a specific timeframe in mind, but it will likely be longer than a year to allow the charging infrastructure to mature.

Are you planning a livestream or are the forum sleuths just going to have to publish your home address for the audience participation?

(It's a joke; please don't stalk each other!)

All my cars are so old that Carmax, Carvanna, vroom, etc only offer wholesale auction prices ~$4-5k, which is $9-10k lower than that what I should be able to get by selling third party. Something for anyone else with 10+ year old cars to consider!

If AdamL sends me his address I can film it. I leave the office in 30 minutes…

Pretty sure it kicks in on delivery just no charge for the first year.

I worked in the auto auction industry for a bit. It's not necissarly subjective, but I'm sure their pricing (offer to seller) is partially based on their own inventory. If they're "low" on small pickups - they're willing to pay more. If they're long on small pickups - pay less.

Cynical me talking: do we have anyone with delivery times AFTER the next earnings call?

There was nothing I saw that even mentioned it.
Maybe they’re waiting to build out their Adventure network, which would make more sense to me because you couldn’t even enjoy the trial membership if you don’t even have anywhere to charge it
