I’m excited to see what they come up with, I can imagine it’s going to be pretty great. Sounds like the structure is super strong ?. I’m kind of curious with the IIHS comes up for the headlight ratings,

Maybe I'm missing something, but does this really indicate that they "have" an R1T? It looks like its just a record entry for the R1T but I don't seen anything suggesting they are currently crash testing it. Since not all cars go through public crash testing, there's no guarantee the NHTSA will release ratings for the R1T.

No you are correct, how ever up until now they had No Rivian/R1T section/page. We know they did crashtest the vehicle at a calspan facility as well https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/rivian-r1t-crash-test-video-photos-analysis.1111/

Anyone know if the Riv’s have “active” head rests? My wife was rear ended in her BMW X5 and the CO2 cartridges in the head rest fire to supposedly stop whiplash, but she’s not convinced it didn’t cause her more neck pain in the end as it blew her head forward. Just curious. She now positions her seat back angle back because of it.

Read through those, all seem to be from January. Actually does not seem too bad if that is the bulk of the issues from the first runs.

I give it within the 1st yr or 2. Not that I distrust Rivian as a company, just acknowledge they're too new and lack production experience. Not that they can do anything about it due this being a learning curve they must go through to overcome it.
