Are there any settings in the Spotify UI to pick the streaming quality? Wondering what the best way is to get higher quality audio to really push the sound system. USB drive maybe?
The Spotify quality is quite good. I flipped between Spotify and bluetooth via my phone for the same song and the bluetooth quality was clearly inferior. There isn't a USB option at this time.

Has anyone other than @timesinks tried a DCFC session yet? I'm curious if their charging curve shenanigans may be due to the software version.

Do the bed lights come on when opening the doors? Is there a way to turn the bed lights on with the app?

I suggested that they make this available when I did my test drive.

I think only when opening the tailgate or manually being turned on from the main screen. We'll double-check.

The app does not control much of anything (yet).

I'm going to push harder tomorrow on figuring out why our software version is lagging.

For what it’s worth when at the first mile event I did ask them what that was and they stated it was a “sensor”. I even suggested it as a brighter forward facing LED. They told me no. They may have just been giving me a red herring.
I think those might be ambient light sensors for auto-dimming at night —so your’re not blinded by the gal/guy tailgating you to get a closeup view of your awesome truck! ?

Auto-dimming sideview mirrors are a feature I’m really looking forward to in my R1T.

Camera body is a Nikon D750. But I can hear him in my head right now, "it's all about the glass", so let me ask about the lenses:
Hahaha It is. I have an A7RIV with a 24mm f1.4 GM. He took some awesome shots (but it was obviously because of the prep work from the helper) Great work all around on both photos and answering the barrage of questions we've all had for years!

Thanks again to all of you.

With the tonneau cover closed and the tailgate down, what is the measurement from bed to the underside of the cover? Trying to determine the maximum height an item could be to slide into the bed while allowing the cover to close/stay closed.

I haven't measured it, but it is quite a bit bigger than my 2015 Sienna, which had a better turning radius than it had any right to, and a little larger than my '04 Civic. Not bad, but not great.
According to the inter webs, the 04 civic has a smaller turning radius than a 15 sienna.

Hmm. That's surprising to me but it could be that the Sienna simply feels tighter because of its size...

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here but I've still never seen a good answer to this question... how far is this truck going to go in conserve mode cruising at highway speeds? Obviously there are tons of variables but if someone wants to go for a drive (especially in winter temps on 20's), what type of range are we expecting to see?

Ya, that makes sense. Fwiw, I find it shocking that Rivian hasn’t published the radius nor has a single reviewer measured it. My opinion from my test drive was that it really tight for the vehicle size.

I'll look into measuring it this week and post what I get.

It's going to vary a lot and doesn't boil down to a single number, but we used conserve mode for one leg of our trip and reported on it.

Once back on the pavement, we decided we'd try Conserve mode, and we started interval logging: 43% SoC, 126 miles on the range meter, and 107 miles to home. Rivian nav tells us we should charge, albeit briefly, so we target the EVGo at the Bellevue Whole Foods 97 miles away and head out. This time, Rivian nav said we'd arrive at EVGo with 39 miles of range remaining. It continued insisting on this even when we were only a couple miles away and the range meter had dipped below. We arrived with 34 miles on the range meter.

97 miles of driving, mostly at 65mph, one mountain pass, some rain (increasing in intensity toward the end of the drive), and ending about 1800' lower than starting used 92 miles from the range meter.
