Ive had this happen before, then proceeded to get a escort to floor it thru downtown DC Chinatown at 1am to hear my exhaust. Cop was mega cool LOL.

Curious for those of you who have had Rivians (imminently being) delivered - are any of you planning to trade in a vehicle that is currently being leased? Rivian's FAQ page says " We can also support some leased vehicles as trade-in options. This will vary by the vehicle manufacturer and leasing agreement." There are some manufacturers who expressly prevent third-party lease buyouts so those make sense to exclude, but I'm not sure if that is the only criterion. I asked CS about this but they were as informational as they typically are.

So wait, BM will be faster delivery but changing will delay months?? SO confused.

Yes, they are primarily building BM interiors. As I said, I was told should I want to change to another interior, it would delay my delivery. Others have noted this as well...

When you say “another” interior does that mean that you currently have BM configured and that changing to another will delay you, or that you have OC/FE configured and the change to BM will somehow alter where you are in line? This is the key omitted variable in your posts.

Yes, I do have BM configured and that's the interior that they have focused on, as stated above. Any change from that will delay.

My guide first set I'd get the PBA last week, then he said this week, now says next week. Not sure what's going on. Guess I'm still in the 4-6 week window. Hard to be patient after everything , haha.

Honestly I'm starting to think something is up with the LA delivery prep center. Either they have to many orders to go through and not enough staff or something else.
It's seems most other parts of the country are getting their PBA, 8 steps, and delivery date in a couple days. It's seems to be weeks for us in LA.
I want off this rollercoaster and into my truck already!
