Thanks! I'm not seeing a meaningful difference from regular 2022.07 (sans .03), and that's what people have been wondering.
I didn't either. I do know that there are some bugs they are working on. For me, the front trunk does not always open fully and they tell me it's a known software issue where they have the current limit too tight. They haven't told me yet if this .03 is a fix for that yet. Thanks! I'm not seeing a meaningful difference from regular 2022.07 (sans .03), and that's what people have been wondering.
Tesla SC: Rivian currently cannot charge at Tesla SC station, correct? Any prediction IF and when this might change?I figured since there are a few new owners in here, we may want a place where you can ask your questions about the R1T directly to owners. I'm sure @timesinks, @JDMD, and soon @bowhunter and I would be happy to answer what we can! Also, it may be easier to read this thread if we stick to questions about current features vice discussion or debate about future features.
Correct cannot charge at Tesla SC, but I think could charge at L2 Tesla destination chargers with an adapter (Right?). My magic 8-ball (yes I'm dating myself) said "not likely" on if/when Rivian will be allowed to charge at Tesla SC.Tesla SC: Rivian currently cannot charge at Tesla SC station, correct? This is good to know as i have the same issue. Was going to tell them about it when it goes in for service next week.I didn't either. I do know that there are some bugs they are working on. Thank you. Confirms what I have read. L2 will work from what I understand with this adaptor (). But this obviously will not work with SC.Correct cannot charge at Tesla SC, but I think could charge at L2 Tesla destination chargers with an adapter (Right?). I'm a previous Jeep Wrangler Unlimited owner. This is my fist pickup, though ridden in plenty, all sizes. The R1T feels just right for me; a bit linger and wider than the Wrangler, more spacious in the cab, especially up front. I trail run, cycle, kayak and ski so the bed length is more than adequate for my needs with cargo rack/kayak adapters. If someone wanted a full length bed, this will feel short I think.Forgive me if this is in the post anywhere. Long ago I put all the exterior measurements of the Rivian on my garage floor and drove my GMC Sierra 1500 over the top. I did this because some article called the truck "midsize". My observation was the only real difference I saw was length of bed. Have any new owners climbed in this truck and felt it was "small"? My guess is no (or my hope), but wanted to ask since I've never been in one. Thanks.
"Honda Ridgeline" seems to be the general consensus on the closest approximation for interior sizing.Forgive me if this is in the post anywhere. Thanks! That is what I thought after driving my Sierra over the outline. Crew Cab was very similar, but bed was certainly short. But for me, it is exactly what I wanted. Always have driven half tons, but wanted something close but not as long.I'm a previous Jeep Wrangler Unlimited owner. This is my fist pickup, though ridden in plenty, all sizes. Absolutely works. In Rivian thefe are multiple choices for sources of audio including Spotify, radio stations, Tune-In AND mobile device. So you, via Bluetooth, play music from your phone, including Apple Music.I wonder if there is a possibility to use Apple music through Alexa in the Rivian. I have Apple Music and linked it with Alexa for home use. Kids can ask Alexa to play something and it'll pick Apple Music before it tries Amazon music to play the song.
Could Alexa conceivably work in the Rivian and play music through the apple subscription?
Not sure if there are Rivian owners that are in this boat, so to speak.
ok that's great. I guess it was a stupid question to ask because that makes total sense through BT. Thanks for answering though and appreciate it.Absolutely works.
