Good evening all.
I believe this was asked before, and if so, I apologize. I am just getting a little excited.
1). For those who live in southern California (orange county preferred), do you have any recommendations for a good shop that can do paint correction, ceramic coating, and PPF? I have had my Tesla done previously, but was not that satisfied with the results so want to try a new one for my Rivian when I get it.
2). In one of the PPF threads, there were two videos and in one of them, a detail guy who sells PPF advocates against it. He states it wears after a few years, even if installed great, and the rock chips still leave a mark in the film that gets discolored, dust collects around the edges, etc... He states you are better off just saving money and getting a good detail shop to touch up the chip marks if you want. Should I do the PPF or just the ceramic coat? I have received some great feedback so far from a fellow forum member, but I always try to get multiple feedback.
FYI, I drive 40 miles each way to work. Mainly up the 57, 50, and 210.
Best
