What's the point here, protecting the paint? I get it for steel rigs that rust when they get scratched, but you can scratch aluminum body panels all day long without having to worry about corrosion. Take pride in your pin stripes and move on with life .

And if they did it for looks...well, to each their own. Nothing like spending money adding weight to body panels that the manufacturer specifically spec'd aluminum to save weight.

Maybe just go with CARC instead? Question is, woodland camo or desert tan? Actually, now that I think about it a flat desert tan R1T might not be that bad...
I can't stand the way CARC feels on fingernails. It would drive me up a WALL.

Ultimate nature watching vehicle with no sound from the Rivian. Also i m just imagining neighborhood cats would love laying on top of your car.

Everything works perfectly and yes it was grey before. Starwood customs did this work and has done multiple vehicles for me over the years. Starwood custom paint system is one of the best in the market look them up. Lots of attention as you all have had before with driving the RT1 now just a bit more with more questions. Yes it does go off road and does great hunting. Sorry if my truck scratches your knees.. get a bandaid & suck it up.

Kevin, any idea how much weight that spray added? I'm mixed, though mostly positive, about the look, but that's gotta add some seriously good brush scratch protection.

Brush scratch protection is the best with this Starwood system. We have it on the Predator Prius real working PH wagon. Lbs gain is minimal. Starwood can answer that for a typical install. It’s not as bad as you think. Don’t sacrifice on anything just get the best not the Home Depot roll on truck bed junk others are talking about.

How much of the Rivian body is aluminum? Hood? Tailgate?
