I got my guide assignment yesterday! Greater Portland, Maine delivery address... I'm in Austin for 10 more days, it'd actually be really helpful if they were able to deliver it to me here before I come back to Maine, but that may be a pipe dream... Will update after my guide call on Monday AM.

It sure sounds like you have a manufacturing slot. My understanding is that the guides get to know owners and focus on geographic areas, so if it was me I’d schedule the delivery at home.

Hold onto your hat! We have liftoff in Chelsea! In addition to a large van, two flatbed delivery trucks, four R1T’s with manufacturer plates there are…three R1T’s in the bays without plates on them! I’m guessing launch green, limestone and silver ! I have more pictures but the attached is the keeper!

A very long day of cleaning all the winter off my car inside and out, removing all my mods and junk, and finished prepping it for trade 15 minutes before my delivery time. I got an automated text message about 40 minutes before saying they were on their way. So, I sat on my front step and watched every car passing by until suddenly a Rivian appeared and pulled into my driveway!!

Delivery was super easy. I had him skip the usual walkthrough stuff as I've studied it all for months. Probably spent more time walking him through my tesla.

When I brought up Chelsea, he said they actually got the first R1T there on Thursday, and psst..they will be open on Monday!!

I pretty much had to immediately pack the truck and head up to VT. What an incredible piece of swiss army knife machinery. An insanely fast and chuckable sports car on the highways and twisties, an shakes off the rutty dirt roads like nothing. This is JUST what I need for our new place in VT.

Needless to say it's dirty already!

I’ll be curious to hear what kind of range you’re getting with the 21”s on the trips to VT. I’m still waffling between wheel sizes. Enjoy!

R1T’s with manufacturer plates were 2 white, 1 black and 1 in the shadows that is likely El Cap. So yes there’s one Midnight.

Another Boston order holder here! I ordered Feb 21, so hopefully I hear something soon. Of course, Rivian's order of contacting folks has made little sense thus far, so who knows. They told me Jul-Sept, so I'm hoping I fall closer to Jul than Sept.
