Can we ban him?

I know you are kidding but the only information any of us get about how Rivian works is from other owners. We should encourage free sharing of info without fear of backlash. Can we ban him?
Hopefully nobody is reading that as backlash, and nobody should be faulting a guy for getting a truck after 40 days. He’s not in control there.I know you are kidding but the only information any of us get about how Rivian works is from other owners. We should encourage free sharing of info without fear of backlash.
150k total but only 65k of those are R1 vehicles at full capacity in Normal. Additional capacity beyond 65k only comes once the Normal expansion and Georgia plants are online in 2024.Agreed. Keep in mind of that 25k they will produce this year, 10k are Amazon vans. Their goal was go get the plant to 150k by end of 2023. If they can get the parts I think they can do it.
90k reservations at their last earnings report. 15k deliveries this year. That leaves 75k for next year. It’s not impossible.
And a loss of Good Will which is a quantifiable asset and is included on corporate balance sheets.I can blame them. It is financially stupid too because those orders pre March will still need to be filled but instead of at todays cost it will be next years cost which will cause a bigger financial hit.
If they are losing money on each truck they would be better off if everybody canceled. just sayin.Double edged sword. They risk causing cancellations from long time reservation holders.
Right after price hike, all of reservations were negatively impacted by Rivian decision. As time goes by, proportion of pre-march orders to the new ones become smaller and smaller. Rivian can easily become another Tesla that is too popular to care about our feelings and cancellation. If we see more cases of post march deliveries, I consider it a strong indication, folks like me (2023 Explore) will be given the bird in one form or another. If they are losing money on each truck they would be better off if everybody canceled. just sayin.

This waiting game for R1S reservation holders that have been told they have a May/June delivery window but no R1S deliveries yet is turning into a total joke…and not a funny one.OK Rivian, enough is enough. This is just bad. You managed to salvage the relationship from the last screwup with reservation holders then you do something like this. Just dumb. I have been a strong backer but I am starting to question my loyalty as are many. Just look at the tone of the comments on this enthusiast board of late. Everyone is complaining about pretty much every aspect of involvement with Rivian. From pre-orders who are being skipped, to poor communication and an inability to follow through on promises and timelines, to the build quality and service disasters. A swell of dissatisfaction is building and if not corrected soon could and should cost them dearly going forward.
Disgruntled
Hmm, I’ve gotten every email except this one. It seems to imply that there are option changes - not only pricing changes coming. Perhaps something previously available will no longer be? OC interior? Powered cover? Camp kitchen?
Well, OC is technically something that is more "pretend available" versus "previously available"...Hmm, I’ve gotten every email except this one.
