I spoke with Rivian CS via Chat last week to ask about a demo drive event in Michigan and see if I could get an invite to it (it was full). During the chat, I asked about the call and was told that they were only reaching out to people that still had OC interior in their configuration. Also during the chat session, they asked if they could do anything else for me while they had my account open. I asked them to put down all of the service locations that I knew as places I'd be willing to go to pick up, as well as how open I am to changing my config.In theory, Rivian will be "reaching out" this month to discuss options to expedite delivery. In reality, there are 2 business days left in this month so I wouldn't be holding my breath.
Hopefully they were incorrect about the contact this month though, and I hope they contact me still even though I did change from OC to BM interior.
