It's hard to check out your new ride in a populated parking lot without causing a whole scene though, lol. At least we have free EV charging.
It's a new apartment building with a ton of charge point stations that are free to use. I think they're like 7kw though, so only really useful if you live there and charge overnight, but hard to beat free.
I agree, we have a decent amount of that in Somerville…but don’t tell anyone ; )
I had no idea you had the underbody plate on you Riv Blue truck. Any thoughts on it? Pros and cons? Did it slow you down at the track? Haha

I signed up. Their events are great. Back in 2017, I won a trophy for best EV at the all American car show at Larz Anderson Park.
The first place I brought it wouldn't even touch it. They said the $35 wasn't worth even chancing messing something up.Have you all gotten your inspections (MA)? Just did mine and the anxiety I felt letting someone else handle my baby (especially since any shop you go to will have never handled a Rivian before) could not have been higher
I wasn't sure how to handle my front plate situation since I ordered a SnapPlate but it hasn't arrived yet, so I put my temporary plate back on since there's only one of those so I thought it would be acceptable to not have a front plate with a temp, and it worked out.
The chelsea shop should get themselves certified to inspect
Interesting. The closest place to my house, they have been pretty good. I brought them their first Tesla a couple of years ago. It was funny to see them trying to open it with the card and then setting off the alarm. Brought the Rivian and they were ok with it. Everyone at the shop stopped working to go through the truck ?
