I guess I went to the right place just down the road from me in Quincy. The owner was all excited to inspect the Rivian. He knew quite a bit about it but mine was the first he had ever seen in person. He said he had inspected a lot of Teslas. The inspection was quick. We talked longer than the inspection took. ?Have you all gotten your inspections (MA)? Just did mine and the anxiety I felt letting someone else handle my baby (especially since any shop you go to will have never handled a Rivian before) could not have been higher
I wasn't sure how to handle my front plate situation since I ordered a SnapPlate but it hasn't arrived yet, so I put my temporary plate back on since there's only one of those so I thought it would be acceptable to not have a front plate with a temp, and it worked out.
The chelsea shop should get themselves certified to inspect

Awesome reception and friendly service advisor. Not a single space in the lot it is absolutely packed with trucks! And my first opportunity to see all the other colors in person! They all look great but I am so in love with the red.
We drove down the street to Enterprise to grab a rental in case they need the truck for a few days. Super easy process.

My paperwork was sent on Thursday overnight, but it didn't actually get delivered until Monday. Make sure you double check everything on all the paperwork! I had the correct lien holder on the title but not on the RMV paperwork. I had them email me an updated form which I was able to print out. Thank goodness the title was correct since that is on special paper.
I already had a dual head 40A EVSE so I did not order another one. The one that they include in the frunk is 32A 240V nema 14 50. You can use that on your outlet until the wall unit arrives.
Mine were deliver to me as I was at the RMV. I was 30min late to my appointment. I would make sure to stay on top of if it until you get them.
Ali delivery to me in Somerville and I agree she was super nice. I haven’t even seen someone who appeared to be in a bad mood.
Support finally called me this AM to schedule looking at my radio issues (self-reported a couple weeks ago) and the non-opening spare tire hatch (reported by the delivery team on 6/10). They'll come down and pick it up on 8/10 with a flatbed, work on it at Chelsea on 8/11 and return it on 8/12 (again via flatbed). ?
I had a CT based black R1T roll up next me at the Electrify America in the Auburn (MA) Mall parking lot on Sunday. I was super excited. They were too but probably taken aback a little by my excitement.
