I got my 8 steps today and a VIN of 122XX

Yeah, but think about it this way. 1K in 2021. 2.5K in Q1. 4.5K in Q2. (all R1T). So far about 4.5K thru 2/3 of Q3 (to get us to 12.5K VIN). add another 2K (gets us to about 15K thru Q3), then add another 7.5K in Q4 (so 22.5K of R1T). Also, there are already at least 1K Amazon vans, and now 600 R1S. Add it all up, and they might have a chance at 25K. If I've lost you, that's because these numbers are pulled essentially from thin air. And SEC filings. Which are full of hot air. So there.

The VINs for R1S are from scratch right, not a continuation of R1T....or "R1 line"

109XX for me. Guide was assigned on 8/29 who confirmed my config. I got the 8 steps and VIN a few days later. Just waiting on delivery at the moment. Guide said today that the vehicle is being prepped to be shipped to the Brooklyn SC.

When you got your guide and/or 8 steps, what stage of production was your vehicle?

I was told my truck is "finishing production" currently and it could be as early as next week. Guide, config confirmation, 8 steps, vin, all came at the same time.

As per my guide when I first got one assigned: the truck is in the final stages of the production process and is about to go through a final inspection at the factory before being shipped to the service center where it will undergo another round of inspections.

As per my guide when I first got one assigned: the truck is in the final stages of the production process and is about to go through a final inspection at the factory before being shipped to the service center where it will undergo another round of inspections.
