That was the confusing part. 13,000 vehicles and produced to basically last week. But a bunch of folks haven’t gotten emails..They said that it effected 13000 vehicles. Basically every R1T, R1S and EDV made to date.

Just got back on a 1K trip and no problem. Be careful and get it fixedLove getting this as I'm on my first road trip with my familyOnly real option is to continue on and watch for catastrophic failure on the highway with my wife and three children in the car. No WAY I'm telling my wife about this. She would never ride in it again.
Happens in all corporate recalls..They send it on a Friday evening before a long weekend because that's what the PR team tells them to do, bury the news!
I aim to self inspect too.
XX6920 and I am in the recall.66xx VIN.. no email.
Nhsta website also doesn't list a recall.
Anyone else near that VIN?

(Regarding the hard pull, did you hear the theory that it could be the motor on one of the front wheels that is the problem? One working too little or the other working too much? essentially that they’re not synced correctly, not talking to each other correctly, or not working equally when driving straight. In such a case, a software update could certainly fix the pull. Not sure where this hypothesis stands, but it’s something to consider if alignment and knuckle don’t fix the problem. In fact Service probably *could not* fix it in this case. Only software. Maybe Bosch sent a few motors out of spec? And maybe Rivian used them anyway to get trucks out the door?)If this fixes that right biased pull, I will be extremely happy on Monday when mobile service comes out. I've been through two alignments and still have a hard pull to the right.
Over 13,000. Basically, all deliveries vered vehicles.I wonder how many VINs are affected. All?
There have been no failures to date and this is a voluntary recall. It would be a good idea to get the part torqued down when you return but there is very little reason to worry.Love getting this as I'm on my first road trip with my familyOnly real option is to continue on and watch for catastrophic failure on the highway with my wife and three children in the car.
