(Regarding the hard pull, did you hear the theory that it could be the motor on one of the front wheels that is the problem? One working too little or the other working too much? essentially that they’re not synced correctly, not talking to each other correctly, or not working equally when driving straight. In such a case, a software update could certainly fix the pull. Not sure where this hypothesis stands, but it’s something to consider if alignment and knuckle don’t fix the problem. In fact Service probably *could not* fix it in this case. Only software. Maybe Bosch sent a few motors out of spec? And maybe Rivian used them anyway to get trucks out the door?)

It's a good theory, but when I put the vehicle in neutral when driving it has the same pull to the right. So at least in my case it's not out of sync motors.

Following back up. VIN 119xx. I did not receive an email but the NHTSA website claims my vehicle is impacted. Is it possible that the website just shows this recall for all Rivians? Putting everything together, VINs in the upper 11xxx + haven't received the email.

I never got the email VIN 110xX. Also NHTSA site says I have 0 recalls on my vehicle. I just got it a little over a week ago, so maybe it was already addressed?
My wife already heard about it, which means I will be stopping by the portland service center regardless later today.

Houston service center has similar hours for a pop up tent drive up check.

I had a few other items so I got an appointment for Tuesday AM.

You could assume that they have known for at least a week and added it to the delivery inspection. So it may be a situation where they have already inspected yours and you are off the list. So recalled and checked out before delivery.

and they are doing some documentation on each so you might be able to call and find out if yours was checked.

All that said, keeping the misses content and comfortable is a priority.

They did mine last week when mobile was out for something else. It takes about 60 seconds on each side if necessary. Just tightening the top control arm bolt to spec.

It's literally the easiest recall item I've ever had on any car and nothing to worry about.

Love getting this as I'm on my first road trip with my family Only real option is to continue on and watch for catastrophic failure on the highway with my wife and three children in the car. No WAY I'm telling my wife about this. She would never ride in it again.

Reminds me of the 2019 Bali trip. We flew the last leg of the flight on a 737 max. As soon as we reached I heard about the 737 max crash and issues. Did not tell the wife till we got back. You might consider a quick drop by at a SC on your way. A little inconvenience but a lot of peace of mind. Have a safe journey.

Haven't received the recall notice for vin #122xx.
Removing the frunk DC outlet apparently saved them enough $$ to torque the bolts correctly??

Does anyone know the correct torque spec? I just put my truck in its highest ride height and turn to the front wheel so that I could access the fastener and found it to be easily tightened with a 22 mm wrench *edit, 21mm* I snugged it down with about a half a turn but it would be nice to know the exact correct torque spec. I'm obviously still going to have mobile service come out and take a look, but in the meantime I would feel a lot better if I was able to just torque the nut down myself. For the time being I'm just going to make it as tight as I can with a wrench.
