I feel like this is going to be my Monday work rabbit hole. Now I must read The Ball Report.
With your username, I fully expected some Lady and the Tramp spaghetti gif.Awww
That would have been appropriate also! With your username, I fully expected some Lady and the Tramp spaghetti gif.
Agree. I do the same backing my boat into my bank barn. It’s a ramp up, and when the trailer goes onto the level barn floor, the truck is still on the angled ramp and the mirrors and camera are pointed at the inside roof of the barn, not the trailer.I use the "butt in the air" method when backing the boat down a steep ramp... it's the only way to see what the extreme back of the boat is doing (coming too close to the floating dock, etc..) because it's way below the rear view mirror coverage.
Reportedly, releasing the seatbelt will disable the shifting into park behavior.. guess I'll find out when I get my truck.
I don’t know how else to help you

I am responding to this based on my experiences driving a Tesla Model 3 and learning to depend upon my back up cameras, which do seem to be accurate in giving me a complete picture of my surroundings. You have to trust the technology a bit more, I think. I still do look around, in a sweep--but depend upon the cameras.I use the "butt in the air" method when backing the boat down a steep ramp... it's the only way to see what the extreme back of the boat is doing (coming too close to the floating dock, etc..) because it's way below the rear view mirror coverage.

Accompanied by the obligatory on-screen CYA “COFFEE ARE HOT” disclaimers and hold-harmless agreements.I would love to see a drivetrain menu button in "tow" and "off-road" to allow for door open/seat sensor off (if they even can).
I like your problem solution! She needs to get over here and break it for me.
Also. I cannot tell you how often on long road trips, I stretch my legs by arching up and taking my butt off the seat, or I need to rearrange “goods” for comfort that require a little lift up off the seat.
