I found text worked much better than email, so you may want to try that instead. My guide was very responsive with text. Zippo with email. YMMV.

FYI for anyone concerned (as I was) - it’s a text gateway to some internal customer comms application they use, so it’s not like you’re going to be bombarding your Guide’s actual mobile phone during dinner or weekends.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll give it a few days and then I’ll try that. I’m perfectly happy slow rolling this…

Wow! Congrats! I got my confirm email this week and I was kinda banking on having 6-8 weeks to get past the holidays but I guess that’s not always the case. ?‍?
Congrats @COdogman! I got my confirmation earlier this week too! I reached out to my Guide just to do an introduction and he's been helping me decide what to do about the power tonneau cover.

My estimate is Jan/Feb 2023 (was 2H 2023 but I switched from Max to Large pack). He told me the redesign is not going to be ready by Jan/Feb and for my situation I am willing to wait as long as the redesign doesn't take 6 more months.

I'm in a "hold" status on my reservation which keeps my place in line. Kind of bittersweet for me to finally get to a Guide and put things on hold, but I'd rather have a working power cover day one given how I intend to use the R1T.

My Guide promised me updates on the status of the redesign and to not change my configuration. I'll pass them along in here when I learn more.

Congrats to you! That would be very bittersweet! I attribute my getting the email sooner almost entirely to my switching back to the manual tonneau and Rivian’s decision to pause the powered version. Otherwise there is no reason for me to move up the line. I hope they have that figured out soon for you and everyone else who wants it!:champagne:

I had a call with my guide on the 26th and locked in my config it was less than an hour after the call that I received an email that started my 8 steps. It was called "It's time to begin the purchase process" followed the link logged in to the Rivian site and instead of a look book my interface completely changed and I was able to start my 8 steps
