I took my R1T to the SLC, UT service center about 3 weeks ago for myriad things. Mainly for realignment of the gear tunnel doors that weren't opening until the 3rd or 4th attempt. But also for a tire rotation, a clunking noise I'd heard a couple of times, etc.
I'd had an excellent, extremely thorough call with one of the national reps prior to the SC - 45 mins or so. The gal even wanted to talk to her team about some of my issues and she called me back later that day to ask even more questions as she'd promised.
One thing I'd mentioned was that the heater was struggling to heat the cab when Temps were below 15F. It was in the low 60s in the cab, with it set to HI, and I'd just come to accept that this was going to be a thing with no ICE to provide enough heat and that I'd have to dress warmly when those Temps were expected. Much to my surprise, last week I did my frequent drive from SLC to Bear Lake. Temps were in the single digits and the cab was ROASTING when set to 73F. I had to stop and take off my long sleeve and jacket. Just a T shirt and I started literally sweating. From there, I was keeping it between 69 - 70. At 71, it started to get uncomfortably warm. Kudos to the SLC SC and the rep I spoke with regarding this and all their other fixes!
