Yep, it’s a long stretch between the Sacramento RAN and Roseburg ( or Klamath Falls). I do use the EA station on Anderson but it’s getting busier every time I go there and EA reliability is always suspect.

Last time at Anderson we had to wait for an ID4 going to 100%, 2 city ev buses on delivery trip and the 4th wasn't working

It’s also unbelievably hot there in the summer. Why does this station and most every other station not have a canopy or shade screen? Is it because of cost, or that the ev stations are leasing the spots from the actual property owners, and won’t permit canopies?

Ya we roasted in Anderson last August. Like 105 ambient. The asphalt was cooking my feet through my boots. Rough.

Meanwhile, at Electrify Canada, they have nice PV canopies That provide shade.

Thanks for sharing the Electrify Canada design. Much much better than anything I have seen in person here in the US. But I am thinking about something like this (from the EA website). A full canopy like virtually every gas station has.

The EA in Baker, CA has a nice canopy. I think that is what is featured in that desert sunset shot above.

The Kettlemen City unit is the same. Very welcome in the summer heat.

There are some renderings somewhere of some of their planned flagship sites, such as the one in Santa Barbara. Pretty cool looking but likely not what will actually get built.

All still a far cry from public charging facilities in Europe that have nice integrated cafes, restrooms, etc.

It is a bummer we can't charge at the factory. I had to charge in Bloomington IL and the EA at Walmart was packed. I had to wait for a charger then only got moderate charging rates with all stalls busy.

Really would love to see some progress in Grand Junction, CO or anywhere in the Colorado mountains really!
