Anyone trying the EVBASE Running Boards?

I like the look of the RMaxx but they seemed to be on back order. Price seems a little high on RMaxx.........

EVBase ones stick out too far which makes them look cheap....

$799 high? Take a look at the DCE and MegaWatt prices, if you want to see "high"!

First time I see one installed with the triple slots slotted in the other direction.

Don't think those are triple slots, but rather the alternative, "Star of..." pattern.

Just a thought before ordering might want to verify a standard vehicle lift will allow for the drop on these running boards. I installed EV sports boards and had this concern but learned today they work fine with Rivian vehicle lifts

Look cheap next to the 1EV ones. Also the install instructions leave a lot to be desired especially vs the details from 1EV and discussions around them.

I have the Sportline running board on my R1T. So far love them. I like how they look on the truck and they make it much easier for my vertically challenged wife to getting/out of the truck. I've only had them on the truck a few days. I have not yet modified the plastic covers--just took them off and bolted the running board on (very easy)--but intend to do so when I have time and the weather cooperates.

I plan to cut the small slots (not the 4 inch holes) in the covers.

The running board are solid. I'll take some picts when the rain stops.

Yeah I have the 1EV ones on order. Little afraid of the cutting portion but otherwise like the looks/company etc.

I'd really like to see how they were able to maintain intact plastic panels with those brackets. The instructions don't show a picture of this.

After installing the Rmaxx running boards this past weekend, not having to cut anything is a nice touch.

Always great to have choices, but these look “cheap” to these old eyes. I’m liking the 1EV RBs with accent Compass Yellow welting.

Installed them today… to say the instructions are useless is an understatement. 2 of brackets were labeled for the incorrect sides. Full install and initial thoughts video coming…. They’re “fine”, but I may replace them.
