One extra thing to note: I was sincerely impressed with how thorough the Phoenix SC was. And “Jacob” provided updates regularly via text and real-time assistance/responses. Shout-out to the Phoenix SC and Jacob for the level of customer service! While I noted mentally that they didn’t touch it for 2 weeks (at least, I assume via the app. It was also quarter end and they were probably focused on churning out delivery inspections) and then fixed everything in 36 hours, they provided a nice rental (Yukon SLT) and were very communicative the entire time.
Phoenix SC sounds awesome. Give those folks a raise, lol

2) Vehicle seems to pull to the right regardless of road crown or surface irregularities.

Cause from SC:
- Verified steering wheel is off center. Performed 4 wheel alignment and road test to verify repairs, all ok. Steering wheel is now centered while driving.

Correction/Remedy:
- Alignment, Four Wheel, Check and Adjust
I brought mine in in April for this and they did the same thing. However, it didn't really fix much, still pulling right slightly. My vehicle is now at the SC for 2nd time and they inspected it and said will cost me $240 to do alignment again since my tires is at 5500 miles. I respectfully declined ! Rivian sucks at balancing and alignment. !

I have the same dash rattle and have to wait until Aug 4th to have SC look at it. I can see the mesh flexing over practially every bump. Painful to wait that long with something so annoying. Also have a nice rattle in the B-Pillar somewhere so I hear it all the time as it seems like a wiring harness is sloshing around inside. A 25k Kia would be put together better but it's rush rush rush pump em out and deal with issues later.

Took my R1S into the SC a couple of weeks ago to fix a list of “small” (but annoying) issues. Three of the key ones that I’ve seen multiple times on this forum were fixed (hallelujah!), so I thought I’d include the root causes that were found in case others are experiencing the same problems:

1) Sporadic rattling noise from the grille over the front dash behind the windshield

Cause from SC:
- Verified rattle from front speaker grill. Inspection found HVAC duct is missing. Installed duct under dash speaker grill and retestto verify repair, no rattle heard after repair

Correction/Remedy:
- Duct, HVAC, Instrument Panel, Defrost (Remove and Replace) - Noise Vibration and Harshness General Diagnostic

3) Some high-frequency buzzing/creaking sporadically experienced from rear interior of vehicle

Cause
- Verified rattle from passenger side underbody. Located right side HV battery panel is loose. Removed panel and added double sided tape to inner panel edge and reinstalled. Road test and verified rattle is no longer present.

Correction/Remedy:
- Panel, Underbody, HV Battery, Side, RH (Remove and Replace) - Noise Vibration and Harshness General Diagnostic

Hope this potentially helps others who may be experiencing similar symptoms. The only thing they couldn’t fix (or didn’t try) was the wind noise issue coming from the driver’s side front window. They said, “only normal wind noise is noted”. The SC agent said it’s similar to their test vehicles at the SC. I’m okay in the end if it’s within spec, but it’s definitely more than any other vehicle I’ve previously owned.
Curious what type of quality control they have if there is a missing duct and lose battery panel and of course needing a full allignment

My guess: Posters on the wall, espousing "quality."

My A/C is not working and I also have the dash rattle noise. I didn't report the dash rattle noise due it was "livable" as you say. However, mine is at Phoenix also and since they have solution, I will see if they can add this to the list. Thanks for update!

I have a low frequency rattle/vibration noise coming from somewhere near the subwoofer/rear seat area in my T. But it’s only prevalent when making lower speed right hand turns ?

I had the dash rattle as well and my rear passenger door was out of alignment. Took it to the Cincinnati service center. Lead technician took a test drive with me and the dash did a good job of demonstrating the rattle for him. They added foam tape in a bunch of places. So far, so good, although I swore I heard it again this AM. My wife was able to hold down the speaker grill and the rattle went away, so I don't think we had the missing duct issue you reported.

Did they remove the grill somehow to add the foam, or just somehow put it around it?

Here's what the invoice said:

Concern:
- Customer states: hearing a rattling noise coming from what seems to be behind the
infotainment screen. Happens more frequently and also happens whether driving over smooth or
bumpy roads. FIrst happened on 6/10/2023 This first occurred on 06/10/2023 at approximately 12
PM EST

Cause:
- Verified customer complaint that the speaker grille rattles over bumps. Removed speaker grille,
lined with foam tape at rub points. Installed one missing grille clip. Test drove vehicle and verified
that vehicle no longer has any abnormal rattles.

Correction/Remedy:
- Speaker, Instrument Panel, Center (Remove and Replace)
- Noise Vibration and Harshness General Diagnostic

I have this too. If I push ever so slightly on the center of it the rattle is gone. Appointment 9/28 for that and basically everything else the OP listed. Earliest I could motivate myself to drive the 3 hours to the service center :)

Same here. I made the appointment essentially the day after I got the car (R1S - delivered on 6/10/2023) and it was a little over a month. They rented me a car and told me they may need to keep it for more than one day but thankfully they got it all taken care of in a few hours.

Interesting! I'd love to hear from anyone that has been brave enough to take the speaker grill off, on how that is done. I'd hate to try to pry it straight up and break something. Anyone with inside info?
