Haha. That’s ok, 25% of me is scared to keep Compass Yellow and wants to switch to Forest Green. Not sure I can hold a yellow truck for 10 plus years.

I asked CS about the yellow one day and he said it might end up being the Sleeper color that people wished they ordered because it looks that good in person.

Team Yellow accepts all. All your friends…okay, that one random dude on the forum…are doing it!

They have repeatedly said no to factory pickup. I recently read an article that indicates dealers and manufacturers make money off of destination charges. Rivian needs the low cost/ high ptofit income to offset all the start up costs in order to have a decent valuation when they go public.

they could just charge the same price for Factory delivery, and I think most any of us that would be interested in a factory pickup would still do it.

How did some of the people find out their "order number"? I looked everywhere a and couldn't find it. Rivian chat said that they do not have exposure on such number.

Can I be the first on this thread to congratulate Rivian on meeting this milestone of the guides be contacted starting in May.

This is a big step and I look forward to some of the lucky forum participants getting their vehicles in July and sharing their experience and analysis with the rest of us.

Don't worry about that number, there isn't a strict sequence for all pre-orders (it changed over time) and is meaningless on its own. What you want to consider instead is your original pre-order date, configuration and delivery location.
