Thanks so much for the install tips!

How much Blue Loctite did you use in total (volume of tube size)?
One standard size tube (0.2 fl oz.) will suffice. Each screw gets a small dab along the threads (a little goes a long way).

Glad to see more sliders rolling out today!

Love the look and I need the step for my family. Would you do the installation? What would that additional cost be? Would installation include covering the 4" hole or slots as discussed on this thread?
You can get it installed at T Sportline in Van Nuys. I believe it’s $200 if you go with the 4” holes. The L-slot costs extra and isn’t worth it, imo.

They are quick and do an excellent job though. That’s where I got mine installed.
Had mine installed at Van Nuys, they did a great job!

Finally got my rock sliders after FedEx lost one box for almost a month! Digging through things, I don’t see the “included TP55 and T20 bits”. Sorry if it’s been posted, but I haven’t been through all 131 pages of this thread. Anyone know where they might be hidden?

From what I gather they should be in the hardware bag. There was a period where the hardware package didn’t include the bits. People have either contacted EV Sportline and got the bits shipped or picked them up from a local Napa and I believe have gotten reimbursement for the cost.

Well, they are not in the hardware bags. Annoying, since I even called to double check if they were indeed included.

Hopefully it’ll get sorted out quickly and you’ll get everything installed. Waiting for them to get shipped, FedEx losing them, and now this…..I would be super annoyed!

Seems like your sliders were shipped before mine, but for reference, my hardware came in “Box 1” and included the TP55 bit in the same bag with all the other bits/bolts. It did not have the T20 bit, but I already had several of those T-bits available in my toolbox.

I’m order number 5196. I emailed them last week to see if they had an updated ETA.

This was their reply. Our goal is to fulfill all rock slider pre-orders by mid-end September.
