R1S roof leak?

Holy cow! That is terrible!! Very similar to what happened to me. They replaced the body panel between the roof glass and the windshield on my R1T (I think they called it the 'chin').

10-4. I received a quick response from Service this morning after uploading videos last night. They're getting me in with a rush, hopefully next week. I'll post back here with the resolution once found...

Call service and tell them you need to get in for high-pri water intrusion issue as you live in Seattle. Had this same issue, they replaced the body panel between the windshield and the roof.

Same issue here from the same night of rain. However seems to be more than just a visor leak - it was also leaking from the right underneath my glovebox:

That's exactly what they did. Took about 2 weeks as the piece between the roof and windshield had to go to the paint shop. I mentioned while I was there that I had a screw in my tire. Upon pickup they said it would be $140 for the tire repair. My stare had them immediately waive that charge. I can't wait until I have a non warranty repair at $200/hr that no one else can do...

Sorry to hear of water intrusions into Rivians. I've had my Tarkus for 4 months tomorrow & 7.2k miles and Highspeed car wash 1-2 times per week. Not looking forward to this same issue...

I just took delivery of an R1S, VIN 31xxx, with the same or similar issue - water dripping from the passenger side sun visor hole after a heavy rain. Normal service appointments in San Francisco and San Jose are months out, and even "urgent" appointments are a month out - though they are going to try to further expedite my appointment. Fingers crossed.

After months of dealing with this and multiple services visits, I continue to have water issues. My recommendation (not joking) would be to insist it's taken into service within 7 days or threaten to lemon law.

I got my R1T just over a week ago and noticed wind noise that seems to be coming from the panoramic roof on the passenger side. I have an appointment on Tuesday for them to sort it out. Not going to wait for a full on water leak as others have reported. Thanks for the heads up!
