Vehicle turns off

When I leave the vehicle, even with people in the car, the vehicle turns off. No AC. I tried leaving the keys with someone but the vehicle still turns off. No AC. Is there a setting I have to do to make sure things stay on?

Why does the vehicle turn off even when I leave the key fob inside the car? I thought it only senses when I walk away with the key fob to lock and then turn off vehicle. So if key fob is in the vehicle, it shouldn’t turn off. Unless it senses no weight in the driver’s seat.

Did you initially unlock with the FOB? If you walk out with a PAK and the FOB it will only lock based on the device it was unlocked with.

I have left my phone in the car with someone and it stayed running without issue.

I had the opposite issue last weekend, my truck stayed on in my garage for 4 hours. It was plugged into the charger, lights were on and AC was running. No seatbelts latched and all doors closed. I opened and closed every door, tried locking it with the fob and walking away. My truck is in a detached garage far from my phone and key.

In the end, I had to get in the truck and do a reset to get it to turn off. No clue as to why it did I this. Makes me appreciate the on/off buttons in my other vehicles. They also have programmable timers to shut the vehicle off after it is parked.

I have not had it turn off when my wife is sitting in the truck while I run into a store.

Pet mode? Passengers may not like being referred to as pets.

Pet mode only turns on the air for the third row. Camp mode doesn’t leave the air on when I used it for some reason.

So when I leave the vehicle for a few minutes and leave my passengers, do I have to leave the key fob in the vehicle and buckle my seat belt? Is that the only way it keeps the ac or heater on?
