Hi All!!
Thanks for everyone’s insightful comments, all very useful.
I’ve received my RS1 Quad without issue and drove 800+ miles-no significant drama. I’ve even used the Tesla built in converter supercharger without incident. Slightly cheaper than those awful EA chargers.
I have a wind noise/water leak issue which I have a May 10 appointment for, I will get it fixed. Like everyone else, I miss AP/CP and I’m eager for XM
I need a reference where to get that clown-car sounding horn fixed. I’ve seen the videos, hear how “easy” it is, but not for me. I know my limitations-so won’t even try. Does anyone know of a shop on Long Island or NYC that can simply perform an upgrade for me? I’m afraid to go just anywhere but I’m embarrassed of that horn…to the point I won’t use it.

It’s a total mismatch to that auto. It’s truly laughable. I know in the world of problems this really isn’t one, BUT, it is to me.

I lived in Brooklyn for 3 years so I understand how important the horn is for NYC driving. It’s a language of its own. Before I lived there I didn’t get it.

DT splitter cable (you just need 1 splitter cable but they come in packs of 2) - Amazon.com: BAR AUTOTECH 2 Leads Deutsch Dual Outputs DT DTM Female Connector Socket Adapters Splitters Compatible for LED Work Chandelier Light Retrofit Connectors Wiring Harness (2 in1, 2sets) : Automotive
Spade connectors - Amazon.com: 100 Pcs XHF 16-14 AWG Nylon Female Spade Connectors Quick Disconnect Wire Terminals Insulated Wire Crimp Connectors Blue : Industrial & Scientific

Take everything above to your local mechanic and ask them to follow the instructions below:

Cut off 1 of the DT male green connectors on the DT splitter cable and attach spade connectors to wire ends. The other DT male green connector will plug into the stock horn. The spade connectors will plug into the new horn. Then follow the instructions from @SPITmadFIRE below to install the new horn:

If you have water ingress make sure you address that ASAP. Bad things happen when water sits inside the vehicle.

The water and the wind noise come from the top of the front passenger window-seems like there’s a gap. I use the other car when it rains now until May 10. We dry it as soon as it happens-so nothing pools up.

If you are close enough for mobile service, they can come to you and recalibrate your windows. That may fix both issues if it's a case of the window not fully closing against the gasket.
A mobile technician did this for us during a service call to install our spare tire. The process took about 10 minutes.

I don’t understand what’s…like…wrong with the horn? It discourages people from being…like…so rude! Maybe you should just move to California like me where you get taxed for honking your horn and it won’t be a problem. #yourhornsoundslikeadonkeywithhemorrhoidscrappingananvil

If you are close enough for mobile service, they can come to you and recalibrate your windows. That may fix both issues if it's a case of the window not fully closing against the gasket.
A mobile technician did this for us during a service call to install our spare tire. The process took about 10 minutes.

We have a mobile appointment next week to address the wind noise from the windows, they aren't leaking, just the noise.

We are also having the manual Tonneau cover fixed because the spring clip on the left side snapped and I have to use a pliers to pull it out if I have to remove the tonneau cover. I offered to take it to our SC (Sacramento), but they told me that a mobile service can fix it. I told them that I don't want to cut in line of people that have more serious issues. They thanked me for the kind thoughts and assured me that I am not cutting in line and a mobile technician will be in the area anyways.

My manual tonneau cover latch release pin just snapped. A tiny little piece of plastic. Did you get yours repaired or did it require replacing the the rear-most cover section?

We had a mobile tech appointment to get the window noise fixed and the tonneau cover fixed. The tech pulled out the panel he brought......pulled out off and put the new one in......less than a minute....for free!

I had to use a pliers to pull the release pin out while pulling on the cable before it was fixed.
