Curious about the shim kit they sent you. Is it just for one side or both sides? How thick are they? Mine is hitting the passenger tunnel door during extension.

I suggest not shimming the ends, but rather between the bottom bolts where the slides connect. This cantilever is much more effective at increasing the spacing with the gear tunnel door than physically adding space, and preventing them from bending down onto the doors with weight.

The shim kit includes at least 10 1/8” shims. “Shim as required” is the general instruction set. I ended up using only four on one side. Done.

I’ll give this a try. I simulated the shims on the side with spacers and I got it just high enough to clear the latch on the door but now the top of the bin is rubbing against the top plastic where the emergency button is.

Plates, as pictured in the OP.
Ooooh I see, you taped them together. Did you ever try shimming them where they connect? It's money, and made me regret shimming the ends. At some point, I'll pull those washers out, but it's not fun in there haha.

Not yet, but will try eventually. I really love this system with the open top box installed on the driver’s side. Every time I go shopping, or for takeout (as I did tonight), I look forward to loading the open top box with my purchases!

Has anyone identified a collapsible tote that will fit into the Open Box unit of this sled?

Has anyone else installed this system? Curious how it is working out for you (those who have already installed)?
So far ... so GREAT.

My "micro-kitchen" is evolving ... using the 3 drawer cabinet + the small box for the middle to hold 2 gal. of water ( converted two one gal. jugs of apple juice).

The other half has a tray for groceries, Instapot™, etc. I made my tray out of wood.

The part of me that designs things for the worst case scenario "the operator will always find a way to break things" screams at me with the table top. I know this is the better side to put the surface on and Rivian Camp Kitchen does the same, but I would always be afraid someone would for some reason hop into the back from the other side, then open the door on this side and ding the passenger rear door on the shelf.

But that's just the part of me that thinks everyone is stupid, and it drives my wife crazy that I think people will break everything.

What did i do wrong? I have a R1T and a Gear Tunnel Slide tray. I followed the instructions exactly. No shims. Yet i can't pull the slide out. I push the blue tabs down simultaneously. And yet the slide refuses to come out. Seems like there is something metal holding it up. Like perhaps bolts used in shipping?
Thanks for the help in advance.
