That's interesting... in order to hit EPA range, you should be getting about 2.8 mi/kWh. Of course there is a lot that goes into that, but since you're in Houston, elevation won't be a factor, only AC which will come at a cost, but it shouldn't be that low...
I know, right? I NEVER see 2.8 mi/kWh no matter how I drive. The range based on the epa estimate seems deceptive.

It really depends. There are plenty of days when people get way better than the EPA efficiency, then days when it's much worse. I'm in Seattle and some folks here on 20" wheels are getting 2.5+ when we should be getting 2.25 in Quad Motor, then on other days we're getting 1.8 so who knows.

Yeah Pirelli is known for having a warranty buy only on purchased sets, not OEMs. Is there any reason you would buy the Goodyear tires over the Nokian in 275/60/20 115 for around the same price if the Nokian's have a 50k tread warranty and are supposed to be better off-road?
I may be biased, but the fact that the Goodyear tire was designed specifically for the Rivian makes it a great choice for the R1. I am not familiar with the off-road performance of the Nokian or what on-road tradeoffs it might have. The Goodyear tire will hold it's own off-road and it will excel in efficiency, ride, noise and performance in all seasons.

Goodyear doesn't back it up with a tread warranty which doesn't give me confidence. I know the Nokian is EV-specific too, not just Rivian which helps. I definitely want to do some testing when I find an owner who has the goodyears since I can't get them.

A certain Tommy Boy quote about guarantees comes to mind, haha. I would love to hear how the Goodyear stacks up against the Nokian on an apples to apples comparison.

What does your About screen look like? Specifically the Wheels section and the picture.

Also your Energy screen when you tap the "Range based on..." , it should say "... With XX XXXXX wheels".

This is actually a great sample of the Goodyear efficiency. The Gen 2 Dual Standard on 20" Goodyear gets 258 miles per 100% which equals 2.78 mi/kWh since it has a 92.5 kWh battery pack.

You have used 92.7 kWh but have gone only 245.2 miles which is calculating correctly in your trip meter showing you 2.64 mi/kWh. You live in Conroe, TX (I used to live in The Woodlands) so you shouldn't have much elevation messing with your efficiency, but a lot of factors go into hitting the rated range including heat, AC usage, accessory usage, driving speed, highway or city, etc.

It does take some time to break in new tires, usually 1,000 miles, so hopefully that number should go up.

The 2.6 mi/kWh is higher than usual for me. More often it’s in the 2.2-2.3 range.

That's pretty disappointing to hear. It means you'd only get 213 miles per 100% charge. Again, hopefully this will increase as your tires break in, but if you're a fast highway driver, going from 70mph to 80mph makes a massive difference in efficiency. It's best to drive at the fastest speed IF you have plenty of charging options along the way, but if you're stretching for range, lowering by 10-15 mph helps a ton. Also being gentle off the line help, but does take away some fun :)

Goodyear typically does not offer a treadwear warranty on tires designed for OEMs. This is common among most tire manufacturers.

If a tire does come with a pro-rated warranty, it does not necessarily mean it will last longer than one without a warranty.
