Updated my primary residence to my in laws address in Fort Worth. Probably will keep it that way honestly bc at the current rate I'll be able to take delivery there much sooner than SC by my estimation.

I don't see any reason they can't be happening in multiple cities at once. Or at least that's what I hope...

Right now. But I'd be surprised if the plan didn't involve expanding to have multiple teams that are regionally focused. I think the limiting factor for the single team right now is having enough trucks, but once production improves that will be fixed.

My understanding was that the single-team limit was for the "big" tour events (like the one coming up in San Fran in early November), and was not a limitation on the mobile drive opportunities which require nothing more than a field specialist and a truck.

I know in Denver multiple Field Specialists have already been hired, so all that's needed is a demo truck.

Exactly what I was thinking. Chicago, LA, and SF people already got a chance (or will be soon) to see in person. There are probably not going to have First Mile in Seattle anytime soon.

You think they won't do it because of COVID restrictions? I think they are basically the same here as they are in San Francisco (or at least will be after 10/25). I'd be perfectly happy for them to pick me up and home for a ride though... or just deliver my vehicle

Rivian official just posted the cities that will be able to do the mobile drives soon, in addition to NYC, which started last week.

My understanding was that the single-team limit was for the "big" tour events (like the one coming up in San Fran in early November), and was not a limitation on the mobile drive opportunities which require nothing more than a field specialist and a truck.

I know in Denver multiple Field Specialists have already been hired, so all that's needed is a demo truck.

Hopefully they still do the group first mile events at these Cities. I really want to see multiple colors on a real truck in person.
