Rivian Compass LED Badge

Has anyone seen any LED badges for Rivian that you can install to replace the compass badge on the fronk/hood?

There are several EVs from other brands that have that, most notable to me would be VW and Mercedes, and I've always thought it was pretty cool - especially at night.

Not really sure how you'd run power to something like that for the Rivian since the badge is on the hood instead of the grille.
Another thought would be to have the LED output to the same color as the trim level (i.e. Yellow for those with Tri or Quad motor config)

Ive had the front badge off my old one and you'd need to drill a hole in the hood as well to power it. If this was simple I wouldn't mind having it but I have a feeling it's going to be difficult at best to make happen.

given where they are located on a Rivian, I would not be interested even if they were solar powered with an internal battery and provided for free.

One could argue that the huge light bar and dual oval lights in the front are enough of a signature to tell everyone on the road what you're driving.

It’s in a location that you’d see while driving. I would think it’d be very distracting.

Those others are in front not on top of the hood. woul be that noticeable if at all.

Exactly. I see the headlights for a mile away and I know it is a fellow Rivian. People have complained that they hate the headlights....I personally think it makes it more distinctive and stands out.

The headlights on the Rivian are absolutely beautiful. The tricky part for them is how to evolved the design in the next gen of products keeping the theme but freshening it up enough.

I have been playing around with trying to build one for the sides of our R1S and something much sutler than what you would use on the front. It’s been surprising challenging and I’m not happy with the results so far. And then there will be the challenges of installing and power it.

And don't forget that blue lights are illegal in many jurisdictions.

Exactly.....they are a unique design. All the other truck lights are so typical and boring. Rivians stick out and that is what makes them cool.
