My R1S is over a year old, you can see my post #39 for the before and after pictures. In the before picture you can see a casting line that I could not get rid of. The Cerakote Restorer helped remove it and left the plastic trim looking like it did when I picked up the vehicle. It has a matte finish, not the wet look like you see with products like many of the products.I'm surprised that any Rivian owners are using trim restorer of any kind at this point. Are you guys getting fading already on the black plastic trim? Or just being proactive? Reason I ask is because I think black plastic should be a matte finish as it was when new and most of these protectants/restorers turn them glossy. Once you go there, it requires constant upkeep. That's why I don't bother doing anything to my trim until it starts to oxidize and only then will I mess with it.
I’ve never used this product before so will see how it holds up, it has almost been a month and so far looks the same as the day I applied it.
