Super Tempting. I honestly think you're offering the best looking topper on the market for the most cost effective price. Its ALMOST a no-brainer. With that said, I know I will begrudge the lack of easy access to the gear tunnel & liftgate buttons. Any plans to address these (or something I care less about but others seem to: the gear guard camera view) in future iterations of the design?

Funny enough the liftgate button hasn’t bothered me once, mainly because you are always lifting the hatch if you want to drop it for access. The gear tunnel has bothered me immensely, mainly because the DS remote release (app or screen) only partially releases most of the time Need to get that fixed they next time I’m in for service…

That's normal operation for the gear tunnel doors - I doubt that they will (or can) do anything about that.

I agree that the liftgate is not so much of a problem but more so the gear tunnel. Unfortunately have an external button with actuation or a cutout at a very small angle will likely increase the cost by quite a bit.

It’s just the DS on mine, of course that’s the one I use 90% of the time. I’ve found if I’m standing there with the app and give it a tug as soon as it moves it will open past the catch

Yep. Have to grab it within the first couple of seconds, while the latch is open. It is my understanding that this is normal - it certainly has been for mine (both sides) for the 2.5 years I've owned it.

They are required, they have welded studs that the top & sides bolt to from underneath. You might be able to fab something from flat stock, but just bolts wouldn’t provide enough strength for the load rating. These are really stout rails, I had hoped to replace with some Yakima rails to mount accessories I already had … bailed on the idea.

Going to circle back on this again, as I don't think I've seen an answer (thread is incredibly long though, so forgive me if I've missed it) but has anyone mounted crossbars to their topper, and if so can you provide info on what you used? The mounts look to be a bit wider than other camper tops, and the options out there for this sort of mount aren't what I'm used to since this isn't vehicle specific. Thanks!

Just received my delivery today! For those wondering about timelines for fulfillment, here is what I experienced:

Order Placed (First Deposit): August 6th
Order Complete and Ready to Ship (Paid Remaining Balance): September 18th
Received Shipping Confirmation: September 20th
Order Received: November 12th

All in all, it was 99 days from initial deposit and 54 days from shipment confirmation to receiving my order. Once I'm able to get it assembled and installed, I'll be sure to share more.

I picked up a set of these to try out, seems to be a similar build/OEM for the topper we have. The rails look compatible.
