I had my Rivian at the local service station for an alignment a few days ago. I asked about getting the update. They mentioned that it was briefly halted due to some issues but they resumed rolling it out.

Regardless, only having 4 days at most to enjoy it is bullsh!t.

I may not even get 4 days.

I agree with a week sooner. Actually a rewind from the start would be better. Enable each year for a week before Halloween in sequence and on Halloween vote for the favorite to keep one more week.

I wish they would leave last year's Halloween special available (buried deep in the menus someplace) until it is replaced/updated with the new version. In addition to supporting people who want to have halloween themed car earlier in October, and avoiding complaints from people on the tail end of the rollout, there shouldn't be any reason to prevent people from having a spooky parties in April.

Tesla lets me enable Santa mode all year long. Rivian should make their seasonal games available year round too. These silly things are also great for word of mouth advertising. When someone with kids asks me what I think of the car I could respond by saying "look at this silly trick it can do for Halloween"

Nyet. . Halloween feature should have been in the September update then unlocked with an app update mid October. Rivian has screwed this up 3 years in a row.

Had time today at home to try again. Closed App and reopened. Halloween works finally. Looks/sounds cool, but the controller is buggy as hell and sometimes just slow to unresponsive.
