I recently had my entire suspension replaced (under warranty thankfully) and ever since then, the cruise control has been uneven. When on a flat road with no on in front of me, it accelerates and slows down constantly in order to maintain speed. It is only does it for a second and I don't know how to describe it other than feeling jerky. This doesn't happen when going up a hill or when another car is in front of me. I've washed it to make sure it wasn't the sensors and I've also done a hard reset but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is this pedal movement, or visible significant alteration in speed?

If speed is altering, might the cameras be seeing anything that could possibly be interpreted as an obstacle?

Pedal movement during cruise is normal. Phantom slowing is common. If it's not one of those things, call (855) RIVIAN-5 for an appointment.

Best wishes!

Thanks for the guidance. I have an appointment on Thursday to get my 12v battery replaced and will ask them to look at the cruise control as well. I love my Rivian, but this will be the 5th time in for service in less than 2 years...

I don’t experience that. The only awkward thing for me is when you disengage the cruise control getting you foot on the accelerator pedal at the right point so it maintains speed and does not start regenerative braking. This is more of a technique than a fault of the car
