To me, the problem isn’t 250 mi of range. It’s $65k starting for 250 mi range AND Jeep/Stellantis’ track record on EVs and software integration. Once reviews are out I think you will see similarities to reviews on the Charger and Wagoneer. I don’t think legacy auto can move fast enough to correct mistakes on those and avoid repeating. They’d rather kick the can down to the next gen.I‘m glad to see another adventure ready EV, but I don’t know who this is for. Whether it’s necessary or not Americans believe they need at least 300 miles of range.
I guess it’s still better than the Hilux EV that Toyota just announced with 150 miles range
