Had Colorado Fairing installed Saturday morning. Archie was excellent in getting it installed. We now have a pretty loud wind whistle sound. As shown in image, we filled the T-Track above the fairing with a track insert. That did not solve the issue. Will continue to troubleshoot.

I think I have the first "standard production" Tune M1 - have had it for a few months.

How did you connect your third brake light? Been reading other threads, and it doesn’t sound simple.

This thread has been incredibly helpful! I’ve been researching a lot and it’s helpful to hear real world reviews. Was wondering if you or anyone else could share an overall review of how you’ve liked this Rivian/Tune setup? Do you feel range anxiety when you’re losing some efficiency with the camper and driving in the cold and in the mountains? Do you feel like you’re spending too much time at the chargers? Does it feel spacious enough? Just an overall review on if you’re happy with it now that you’ve had it for a few months would be great! I’m hoping to do short weekend trips for camping nearby, but also ski trips 5-6 hours away. Also, do you plan to take the camper off very often?

I really like the Tune setup. The extra width makes a huge difference. It's plenty spacious for my pup and I, and would work for two people as well. I don't feel range anxiety, but I've been driving EVs for a while and I plan ahead (with options in case of big headwinds, which can happen). I tested fairly rigorously, and as long as speeds are below 65mph, I only see about 10% range loss relative to what I saw before I put the top on. With high winds and interstate speeds, it drops. Did a trip down to Moab area with ~30mph headwinds running at 75mph, and only had efficiency of 1.3-1.4 m/kWh. In the winter, with studded tires, range is still over 200 miles starting at 100% for mountain interstate driving. Rivian has significantly improved the charging behavior of my 2025 R1T max (consistency and maintaining charging rate to higher battery capacities), so charging is much more palatable than it was when I first got the truck. Here's a pic of the Rivian and our Sierra AT4, both with Tune caps from the recent trip down to Moab.

Here's a pic of the basic camper setup I started with. Combo microwave/toaster/oven, induction cooktop and hot water kettle, along with Anker Solix 58L (2 bay) fridge-freezer. They operate quite happily off the 1500W battery that's tied into the solar system on the topper. I'm in the midst of working on a different setup for the front using some basic stacking pullout drawers from the Container Store. Tested it in Moab, and it worked well, but no pics yet. I have to have something I can swith quickly between "work - shelving with sample books" and "play" mode. Rio and I are on the road a lot for various competitions, and I love the Tune setup as we can pull in anywhere and we can both eat (quick microwave meal) and be in bed in 20 minutes, and then be on our way in the morning in 15 minutes.
