Portland Rivian Club

Want a Rivian Tailgate Bike Pad or a Cargo Cover for your R1S? Want to do something to help the Earth? Well, you're in luck. Here's your chance. This is a giveaway for a brand new tailgate pad open to all our Oregon Rivian clubs owners (yes, just have to be a member of the Central Oregon or Portland clubs to participate). We will draw 2 names - 1 for R1T and 1 for R1S. The drawing will be completely random based on entries received, selected by wheelofnames.com, on October 31st at noon.

Now the fun part.... (yeah, I know, what's more fun than winning free stuff, right?)

Entry Requirement-
To enter, we are asking every participant to supply a picture or video of some new sustainability task that you have done or been doing between now and Oct 31st. It doesn't have to be anything grand. It can be as complex or simple as you like as long as it is something you can document and post here. Can be a group event, or something on your own. The goal is something new or new'ish to show a continuing effort to benefit our planet ! Examples are -

Volunteer Efforts- roadside cleanup (CORC event coming!), beach cleanup, trail restoration, invasive weed management, helping at an ecological reserve, community gardening, etc - would love to see a few events created just for this purpose.

Home Efforts - Plant tree(s), Start composting, install rainwater collection, plant a winter veggie garden, start a plan choosing to live vegan, install solar/wind/hydro power generators (just a plan here works, might be hard to get it done in time), convert to xeriscape (landscaping designed for no need of supplemental irrigation) , start a bee hive, install water saving shower heads, catch your own fish to eat, make your own sustainable cleaning products, line dry your clothes, take the stairs everywhere you can instead of the elevator, buy beer in your own growler (if you don't make your own), add some plants to your office space, switch to cloth diapers (no poopie cloth diaper pics please ), and the list goes on and on.

PLEASE NOTE - What you submit will become public, so be mindful of what's in your photo/video. The goal is to collect all the entries and present them to Rivian as a way of showing how our local Rivian communities are taking efforts to help the planet. So, there is a good chance that they will use these items in some way whether it be in a blog, IG post, advertisement, whatever.
