Hey folks! I've been posting here for a bit but just realized this group existed within the forum!

Two questions:

1) Anyone have a good experience with running board installation in Bergen county?

2) Any news on the Nyack service center?

Service centers in NJ/NY will happen around 2030..... Been waiting for the Edison one since Q1-23

I got mine installed at Euro auto here in Manville, Nj for $200. Used to live in Bergen but don't know of anyone who got it done there. Euro service here came recommended by quite a few from here and FB forums.

I got the EVbase boards, btw.

EDIT: I also had Rivian mobile service done 2 days back (sensors went bad in couple places) and no issues with the running board being there. The service tech said it is not an issue. But he did recommend the jack pucks (which I had) to be in the truck, in case its needed.

I had a mobile service in Morris Country NJ on 6/10 and the Tech said that the Mahwah Rivian Service Center, @ 16 McKee Dr, Mahwah, NJ 07430 is open, but they only perform some services at that location. My Front Camera needs replacing as it was hit by a rock and per the tech that could be scheduled at Mahwah. From our conversation it sounded to me like they are not doing any major work at Mahwah currently. Not sure if it is a facility or personnel limitation.

Yeah, the mobile tech who came confirmed Mahwah is not yet a full fledged service center.

The only full service centers for anywhere around us are Brooklyn and Trenton.

I was told by a mobile tech last week that Trenton is so backed up you will never get in there. As long as I never have to drive to Brooklyn again I don't care.

Nyack service scheduler stated that Mahwah will never become "customer facing". The space is a short term rental for new vehicle handovers and an area for Nyack techs to visit to work on vehicles. The current lack of parking at the yet-to-fully-open Nyack center is the glitch they are managing around
