Oregon’s largest State Park is situated about an hour south of Portland and two and a half hours from Bend and features different loops to see up to ten different falls.
Most opted for the medium loop (4.8 miles / 910ft elevation gain) to catch seven falls, while some took a route half as long, which included two of the more stunning falls.
The weather could not have been better.
Of course, with different appetites for hiking and with some parties with little kids, splitting up to pursue different routes limited the group connection at the end. Still, several grabbed lunch and enjoyed it there while others got theirs to go and began their journeys home.
A few lucky R1s were able to charge up at the Rivian Waypoint chargers during the hike!
Great job, PORC & CORC! Maybe we’ll make this an annual event.
