Hello Wisconsin! I have an R2 reserved, but I don't think my current vehicle will make it that long without major work.
Thinking about going with the R1T, which is more like what I have now than the R2, so may be a better fit for me. I have not scheduled a test drive yet, but planning to this summer.
Wondering the R1Tis working out for people, especially in the winter months. Any issues with the Menomonee Falls Service Center?
Thanks, Kevin

I’ve never had to use the Menomonee Falls service center, but no issues in winter. I know some have had issues with sliding on steep driveways due to the weight, but I’ve never encountered anything unusual or that I’m not used to, and the ability to raise the suspension makes it easy to push through deep snow.

Range is less in winter, naturally, but still adequate and I’ve never had any range concerns with the large pack.

Good to hear, I do have friends with Chevy Bolts and they have had range concerns during the winter - sub zero type weather. They also have a much smaller battery.

Hi Kevin
I live in se Wisconsin, have had a good experience with the menomonee falls service center though only been there once. Truck handles the winter very well - yes there's a hit on range but it was never a problem. The near instant heat on those cold wi winter days was amazing.

Menomonee Falls Service Center has been excellent in my experience. Wait times for appointments has been relatively short, and mobile service is up and running so they're able to take care of some stuff without having to go to the SC. Range hit in the winter is definitely an issue, just takes some additional planning if you're going on longer trips. We've got the 22 inch sport tires and even they do a decent job in snow and ice. Heck, I've taken them off-roading :-D

I've had a similar experience as the others who have posted with 2023 R1T. Range is lower in the winter (as it is with all EVs), however it's still more than enough for my needs. I can make it to Chicago and back with plenty to spare mid-winter without having to charge (or worry about range).

The service center has been great and is full of nice and responsive people. I've had a few issues with my truck and they have addressed them all in a timely and professional manner.

I highly recommend the R1T.
