Well the car finally made it to Bremerhaven yesterday. Got it through customs and drove 1000+km of Autobahn to Windischgarsten, Austria
53% SoC on arrival. Dropped it off in the Bay Area in May with 81% SoC, sat on the lot until June 6th when it was transferred into a container and battery was disconnected. Arrived in Bremerhaven August 6th and sat on their lot for another 10 days with the battery reconnected. Looks like the 12V battery did not like the trip. Still working, but car is complaining to swap it soon. Brought a spare just for that case.
Charging with adapter at IONITY worked flawless, charging at home as well. A bit slow at home as you only get 7kW on a 22kW charger.
