Any news on the proposed Appleton service center? Last I read in July was construction was to start this month (September) and be ready by July 2026.

I see a post from 2 weeks ago on Facebook, let me grab what it said.

"I posted about 6 weeks ago about a Rivian service/demo center that was given the go ahead by the local common council here in Appleton Wisconsin. When I drove by the site a few minutes ago I see there's now a sign there, and a construction trailer just out of the picture here. The original local news article said if the rezoning was passed they expected to start in September and move in late spring/early summer 2026 time frame. It looks like they are getting started this month although I don't see any equipment on site yet. The only other service center in Wisconsin is just on the north side of Milwaukee, which is 100 miles from here. I've only had my 2026 R1T for two weeks, but it's good to know they'll be a new service center 5 miles away. Hopefully they keep expanding the network as fast as they can."

My sales advisor said they were also planning a service center for Madison, and that they are going to do demo drives from an east side Madison coffee shop.
