Has anyone had problems having Discount Tire in Minnesota rotating their tires? Specifically, is there anyone in this group who uses Discount Tire in Columbia Heights or Maple Grove? There are reports on this site of Rivians "falling off" the lifts at Discount Tire.

I’ve use the Bloomington location only. Never had any issues so far.

I've also used the Bloomington location.. once to buy new tires and only rotated once. They were a little hard on the plugs that go into the lift points, but otherwise seem to do ok.

When I went to Discount Tire last spring/summer, there was mention that some of their locations have the proper equipment to do an alignment. I think he said Eden Prairie does, but that was ~9 months ago now. That could have expanded to more locations.

I used the Bloomington location on Tuesday for a rotation. No issues

Notes from recent first tires rotation at the Eagan location:
- Dirty and no practices to keep filth out of vehicles, e.g., very dirty hands left black filth on interior surfaces, my key card was returned to me nearly full-black. Luckily, it appears nobody touched the cloth covered pillars. The rolls of protective covers were not used to protect vehicle seats nor floors. Instead, they were used to hang broken parts -- I have a photo. While working, some workers wear gloves and some don't. Either way, I never saw gloves removed nor put on when transitioning between working on wheels to handling vehicle interiors -- and no handwashing, either.
- DT rotation standard is forward cross. The Rivian docs instruct to follow rearward cross pattern. (I plan to just be consistent.)
- Wheel Alignment is now available, but they cannot align Rivians, as they don't have "the tools", e.g., computer calibration access.
- They cannot use lifts on Rivians. Reason unknown: weight? pucks? Just one bay is available to use floor jacks. So, this may lead to longer wait times.
