12/9 - first real snow drive from Minneapolis to Lino Lakes. The R1S worked great with snow mode. I did have to watch acceleration around thos 90 degree turns to avoid a little sliding. I am on Michilen 22s. Anyone had any issues in the snow?

Had the Pirrelli All Season OEMs for 3 years. They were OK and I'll still use them in the Summer but I now also have the 20" Nokian Outpost nAT all terrains for winter and summer off-road camping trips. The Nokians are very good in snow and OK on ice.

I have 22xxx on the 22" OEM Pirellis and I'm starting to really not like them in the snow. Last 2 seasons weren't as bad. I'm going with Defenders when I need new tires.

Drive an R1T and just replaced my OEM Pirellis earlier this year and have the Michelin Defenders (21”). First winter with the Defenders, so havent formed an opinion yet, but so far seems fine. Haven’t experienced much slip and slides. I do prefer driving in All Purpose tho, even in snow…. Just personal preference. Will update later this winter if i notice anything notable.
